A Winter in New York

A Winter in New York Book Review

4.5⭐️ I really liked this book. It’s definitely a hallmark romance novel, but don't let that fool you. The meat of the story makes it more than a basic romance novel.

The Kingdom of Sweets

The Kingdom of Sweets Book Review

3.5⭐️ If you’re familiar with The Nutcracker then you’ve been introduced to Clara, Fritz, and Drosselmeyer. But did you know that Clara has a twin sister named Natasha? Well, in this story she does. The Kingdom of Sweets a unique take on The Nutcracker that is hauntingly creative.

All We Were Promised

All We Were Promised Book Review

4.8⭐️ Ashton Lattimore does an excellent job shedding light on the Black community’s contributions to the abolitionist movement in this beautiful novel about three Black women fighting for freedom.

First Lie Wins

First Lie Wins Book Review

4.5⭐️ This is one of the best thrillers I’ve read in a while. It’s fast paced, action packed, and suspenseful with twists I didn’t see coming! See if First Lie Wins should be your next read!

The Helsinki Affair

The Helsinki Affair Book Review

3⭐️ Amanda Cole is a legacy CIA officer. After a Russian man walks into Amanda’s post, her life is changed forever. My review highlights why I gave The Helsinki Affair a 3 out 5. See if you agree!

This Spells Love

This Spells Love Book Review

3.5⭐️ This Spells Love is a quirky rom-com about a girl who finds herself in an alternate universe and needs to kiss her best friend to go back. The book is creative, salacious, and a very quick read. See if this book is one you should add to your TBR pile!

The Fury

The Fury Book Review

4.1⭐️ The Fury is a twisted tale about murder on a remote Greek island told by an extremely unreliable narrator. While I recommend this book, I advise reading The Silent Patient before reading The Fury.

It Starts With Us

It Starts With Us Book Review

4.8⭐️ The sequel to It Ends With Us pretty much starts where its predecessor ended and it's almost just as good! Lily, a newly divorced mother, runs into her first love, Atlas, in the streets of Boston and heals by reconnecting with him.

Ready or Not

Ready or Not Book Review

3.3⭐️ After an uncharacteristic night out on the town, Eve finds herself expecting. As she navigates her pregnancy, she births a new perspective for her future that could just be better than anything she could have planned for herself.

4⭐️ Madison lands a dream of an internship with a judge she admires, who also happens to be the alleged corrupt judge on her brother's case. Read more to see if the allegations are true and the lengths Madison goes to uncover the truth.
